ECOMONDO 2019: the benchmark exhibition for technological innovation.

Also this year from Nov. 5 to Nov. 8 in Rimini, Ecomondo, a trade fair that has become an international benchmark for innovation technology and industry. Ecomondo helps companies become  world leaders in innovation, fostering the development of an innovative and sustainable business ecosystem. It presides over the entire circular economy supply chain, from ecodesign and efficiency to recovery and valorization of raw materials and energy, transportation, remediation and redevelopment of contaminated areas (including marine) by fostering international networking and growth of companies in markets around the world. Attendance forecasts again this year are more than positive, and data from the past edtion confirm this:

• + 4% more visits than the previous year
• 10% more international visitors from 66 countries
• 80,930 Attendance
• 98,000 gross sq. m. of exhibition space
• 1,022 exhibitors 15% from 30 countries around the world
• More than 150 seminars and conferences with more than 1,000 speakers
• More than 747 million average contacts

Many interesting topics were discussed, all related to the eco-sustainability of production chains and the green economy, circular economy, Industry 4.0 tools, treatment and valorization of solid and special waste, innovative technologies and materials, bioeconomy, communication and corporate social responsibility, new priorities and opportunities Circular, Smart and Healthy Cities as well as the general states of the Green Economy, the annual benchmark event for Italy’s green economy, promoted by the National Green Economy Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Economic Development.
