We are proud to announce that Cogo Bilance has been chosen by Infrastrutture Milano Cortina 2026 to supply five professional weighing equipment for the Olympic track in Cortina d’Ampezzo, where bobsleigh, luge and skeleton competitions will be held during the XXV Olympic Winter Games.

A prestigious project that sees us involved at the forefront of the management of a fundamental aspect for the regularity of competitions: weight control of athletes and vehicles, a key element for the validity of competitions and safety on the track.

Where speed is born: the Cortina Olympic slope
Our systems were installed at the historic Eugenio Monti Slope, renovated to host the sliding disciplines of the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics.

This is a highly technical facility designed to meet the highest international standards. In this context, weighing accuracy is not a detail, but an essential requirement: every bobsled, luge or skeleton must meet strict parameters of maximum weight and load distribution, both during training sessions and in competition.

Our contribution to the regularity of competitions
We have supplied and installed five high-precision weighing systems designed specifically for sports applications and highly critical operational settings.

The systems make it possible to:

• Check the total weight of bobsleds, sleds and skeletons;
• Check the compliance of crews with international technical regulations;
• Support race bodies and technical commissars with reliable and certified data.

Each system has been calibrated according to rigorous metrological standards, with testing conducted directly in the operating environment, to ensure consistent performance even under complex conditions, such as mountain conditions and low temperatures.
