Periodic audits, Cogo Scales is in compliance

As we have pointed out in some article ago, many are the changes introduced by the Decree 93 last April 21, 2017 regarding mandatory periodic checks on measuring instruments and related penalties for defaulters. Following the number of applications submitted to ACCREDIA and concerning all areas of the measures and thus the time required to process the files, was published last 30/04 in the official gazette within the commonly called “growth decree” Article 42, which grants an extension to bodies that have applied for accreditation by December 31, 2018, but have not yet received the relevant certification from the relevant body ( ACCREDIA ) and therefore will be able to operate until June 30, 2020, pending the aforementioned certification. For those who would like to read the article in the original you will find it here As far as we are concerned, our metric laboratory is able to carry out any kind of verification and is awaiting certification ISO 17025 we chose because, in our opinion, although more complex and implying higher costs than ISO 17020, it is more appropriate to guarantee what is required, including for calibrations, by certain particular sectors (We will discuss the substantial difference between ISO17025 and ISO 17020 in a future article). We are already on track then, having invested heavily to provide our customers with superior service. Therefore, we are available to both customers who have weighing instruments of our own manufacture and those of other manufacturers to perform the mandatory periodic inspection either every three years or following repair. Our managers are available for any clarification. #cambiaconnoi
