Sacchital, the new weighing plant

Recently, we have been writing and talking quite a bit about the latest Cogo Scales innovations and especially the innovative weighing system SMART SCALE , also presented at the last A&T in Turin, however, we also do not want to overlook the constant activity that our company carries out for Italian companies every day. Today we are talking about the brand new weighing system installed at Sacchital of Pregnana Milanese. Sacchital is a leading packaging company and approached us for a  complex weighing system. The need was to have total control of vehicles entering and leaving the company with a Access control system integrated with internal business management systems. Our engineering team then worked on what are the peculiarities of our weighing and access control systems ( we have already talked about it here…)to create a plant with innovative but above all “tailor-made” features, i.e., cut to Sacchital’s actual needs. Thus, the following were made two automatic inbound and outbound vehicle verification stations to ensure “safe” access. Queue management and prioritization are provided by the system for optimized waiting and weighing times, such management is further integrated with a Automatic weighing of trucks by license plate reading with camera system at OCR protocol The destination indication of the vehicle within the plant is further simplified with the help of a maxi display. The whole process is managed by a centralized software, specially written to enable supervision via receptionist PCs and integrate the redundant Data Base for a Perfect and timely synchronization between PC and corporate server. A highly complex facility that confirms how our company is able to combine complex industrial needs with tailoring and ease of use for a process of changing the world of weighing beyond the normal standards seen so far.
