Success for the 4th “Guarcino-Campocatino”: a mix of sports, safety and inclusion

The fourth edition of the “Guarcino-Campocatino,” the seventh round of the Campionato Italiano Velocità Salita Auto Storiche (CIVSA) Italian Hill Climb Championship, ended last week with great success, attracting 54 drivers ready to compete on one of the most striking tracks on the Italian scene. The event sponsored among others by us at Cogo Bilance, was enthusiastically attended, confirming the growing popularity of an event that combines passion for motors, sportsmanship and social commitment.

Sports, safety and sustainability: the pillars of a successful event
Guarcino was transformed for two days into a stage of excitement, with a program full of activities focused not only on competition, but also on safety and sustainability. For the fourth consecutive year, the State Police participated with the Traffic Police “Blue Camper,” offering seminars and practical demonstrations on road safety throughout Saturday and Sunday morning. An initiative appreciated by the public and those in the industry, a symbol of a solid and fruitful collaboration between the institutions and the event organization.

The Carabinieri Corps also contributed, displaying vehicles and organizing simulations and demonstrations to raise awareness of the importance of safety and prevention. To crown the message of sustainability, the initiative promoted by ACI, “Every Driver a Tree,” saw the planting of 100 trees, in a concrete gesture to offset the CO2 emissions produced during the race, demonstrating how passion for motors can be married with respect for the environment.

Inclusion and sociality in focus
This year’s edition also paid special attention to the theme of inclusion, with numerous activities dedicated to promoting the active participation of people with disabilities. On Saturday, Sept. 7, leading local associations collaborated with the State Police and Carabinieri to organize moments of interaction and practical demonstrations designed to show how disability can be overcome with determination and proper support. The initiative provided a unique opportunity to enhance the motto “Rebirth and Restart,” coined by the organizers to emphasize the importance of resilience and social cohesion.

Cogo Bilance: passion for engines and our work
As a sponsor of the event, Cogo Bilance is proud to have contributed to the success of the event, sharing the values of passion and commitment that animate the world of motor racing. We firmly believe that the dedication and attention to detail, which characterize the preparation of each race, perfectly reflect our approach to daily work. This edition of the “Guarcino-Campocatino” was an important sports and community gathering, uniting under one sky values of healthy competition, safety, respect for the environment and social inclusion. An event that was able to look to the future without forgetting its historical roots, and in which we were proud to be a part, with the same passion that we put into our work every day.
